Gucci, Horsebit Loafer

by David Mitchell on February 17, 2013

Did you know that the Gucci horsebit loafer is in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. As a matter of fact it is the only shoe that is in the MET Collection. The shoe was originally designed in 1953 and Gucci designer, Frinda Giannini, who is helping to celebrating the 60th anniversary by reintroducing and restyling the horsebit loafer including over 20 new colors and materials. It is definitely going to be the summer of the Gucci horsebit loafer.
